Senior Beagle

Jasper is a 10-year-old beagle who needs a new place. The other male dogs in the house don’t care for him and his mom wants him gone.

All of these dogs are in need of a place to go. The rescues we partner with all are foster-based and do not have a facility to house the dogs in. They rely on temporary foster homes while they network and share the dogs via social media and adoption events.

Can I bunk with you for just a little while?

The warmer months mean more dogs are on the loose and dumped. Sadly, many never find a home and are euthanized at local shelters. The Escambia County, FL shelter euthanized 98 dogs and 102 cats in March 2018 (monthly report). Many of the smaller rescues in this area of Florida are foster-based and do not have a facility to house a great number of dogs or cats. By opening your home and heart to a homeless animal you can help reduce the number of healthy animals euthanized by shelters across the country.

The process to apply to foster is pretty simple and straightforward. Click on the link above for any of the dogs on this page. Complete and submit the application, takes less than 10 minutes, and the application is sent directly to the rescue. From there a volunteer who is familiar with the dogs will contact you to talk about the dog.
